The cottage has its own parking adjacent to the Highway from where guest can either reach the cottage by climbing staircases or through an outdoor elevator. The outdoor elevator is a boon for our elderly guests who don’t have to climb the staircases (except the last few ones).

The Cottage has a kids play area with Wavy slide, Swing, Merry-Go-Round and a Puppy Rider to make your kids stay really enjoyable and memorable.

The cottage has a small library with books from renowned and not so renowned authors – fiction and non-fiction. One can read ‘Man Eaters of Kumaon’ from Jim Corbott, to books on the first Sepoy mutiny of 1857 from various authors, including from William Delrymple. For readers of fiction there are good numbers of books from Harrold Robbins, Jeffrey Archer, Dan Brown etc. Books for Children are also present.

The ground Floor Bed room – Kubani is a pet friendly bed room of the cottage. The guest staying at Kubani can bring their pets subject to T&Cs and payment of nominal fees. upto 2 pets at a time allowed and only dogs & cats are treated as pets to be allowed to stay with the guests. Guests are requested to intimate in advance about their pets and the same is allowed subject to availability of Kubani bedroom during the period of their stay.

Two caretakers are available 24x7 at the Cottage, while a part time cleaner is available during daytime. The Cottage provides meals for the comfortable stay of the guests. Please do try local Kumaoni dishes.

Beaware : As the Cottage boundary touches a verdant forest at the back and there can be occasional sighting  of small harmless wild animals, apart from monkeys. The monkeys are strictly not to be fed by the guests. Though the Cottage is secured through a chain link fence, we advise our guests not to venture in the forest after dark. 


A bit of Caution : The Cottage has pine wood interiors. Pine wood is inflammable and therefore smoking inside the Cottage is strictly prohibited. If smoking outside, we advise extra care to extinguish cigarette butts after smoking as the dry pine needles fallen on the ground are easily inflammable especially during dry summer months.
